Magento 2 : How do I make a product attribute available to use in the Catalogue Price Rules conditions?

When creating the conditions to attach a price rule to, you may sometimes want to use an attribute which does not appear by default.

If this is the case, it is likely that the attribute has simply not been configured to allow you to use it for promo conditions.

To update an attribute to appear here, you will need to make the following changes:

• Go to Stores > Attributes > Product
• Browse or search for the attribute you want to use
• Select "Storefront Properties"
• Change "Use for Promo Rule Conditions" to "Yes"

Once this is done, you will need to go to System > Cache Management and clear the invalid cache types. The attribute should now be available to use for your offer.
